About the Role
Are you passionate about bringing people together, creating meaningful experiences, and making a real impact? Capricorn is looking for an Engagement Coordinator to help drive our community engagement and advocacy initiatives across Australia and New Zealand.
As a key member of our Communications & Engagement Team, you’ll play a central role in coordinating programs that connect our Members, Preferred Suppliers, and Team Members. From managing our prestigious Rising Stars Awards to supporting industry expos and liaising with government officials, this role offers variety, purpose, and the chance to shape how Capricorn engages with its vibrant community.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead and coordinate community engagement activities and events across Australia and New Zealand.
Deliver standout experiences through Capricorn’s Rising Stars Awards and Careers Expos.
Support advocacy efforts by working with industry partners and government stakeholders.
Manage key relationships by maintaining a dynamic database of contacts and tracking engagement.
Champion partnerships through community sponsorships and collaborative initiatives.
Collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality communications and provide administrative support where needed.
What You’ll Bring
3–5 years’ experience in communications, community engagement, or administration.
A degree in Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing (preferred).
Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
A proactive, collaborative mindset and a passion for making a difference.
