What is the Opportunity?
A great opportunity now exists for an enthusiastic Rental Equipment Driver & Repairs Technician to join our operations team based in Rowville, Victoria. Experience in cleaning medical equipment and / or electrical repairs would be an advantage but training will be provided to the successful candidate
This is a permanent full-time position.
Your role:
The role of the Hybrid Technician is to deliver, install, assemble and collect medical equipment as part of the rental service offered to our customers. Your role will also involve testing, servicing, repairs, cleaning and sanitisation of equipment mostly pressure care mattresses and pumps.
This is a physical role that requires a fit and energetic person. The role is typically Monday – Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm.
Skills and Experience:
To be successful in this position, you will possess:
- Delivery Driving, installing equipment and/or courier work or transferable skills or experience;
- Customer service, be well presented, confident and sensitivity interacting with staff and clients in a Healthcare environment;
- The ability to work without direct supervision yet within a team environment;
- A current and valid VIC driver's licence (Class C) is essential;
- You will be required to drive a van and be able to route plan effectively.
- Experience of 1st line repair of electrical equipment advantageous;
- Experience in cleaning and infection control ideal, but not essential;
- VIC Test and Tag Certification preferred but not essential – training can be provided;
- Experience in cleaning and infection control ideal, but not essential;
- Be comfortable working with electronic devices such as an iPad and computers;
- Good time management skills;
- Be well presented and uphold the company's brand and guiding principles;
