GENERAL PURPOSE
The HR Business Partner will play a critical role in strategically sourcing and attracting top-tier talent who align with the organization’s culture and values. This position involves comprehensive management of expatriate recruiting processes, building and maintaining a robust talent pipeline, and collaborating with hiring managers to develop effective recruitment strategies. They will also oversee onboarding, HRIS management, recruitment metrics, and various HR projects, while ensuring a seamless and efficient recruitment experience for candidates and stakeholders. Position will be primarily responsible for recruitment 70% of the time while special projects will occupy the remaining 30%.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage full lifecycle recruitment activities to include posting jobs on websites and LinkedIn, resume reviews, interview scheduling, conducting interviews, preparing offers, etc.
- Strategically source and attract candidates for all domestic positions for the division, serve as back-up for overseas recruitment activities.
- Partner with hiring managers to create job descriptions and develop effective recruitment strategies for open positions.
- Manage annual performance management process in to include system enhancements, employee communication/ education, HR review of annual scorecards, reporting, etc.
- Serve as super-user for HRS to include Employee document management, applicant tracking, new employee onboarding, leave tracking, expense tracking, system enhancements, troubleshooting technical issues, etc.
- Update the payroll system and complete necessary forms for new employees, terms, transfers, employee data, banking, etc.
- Manage annual payroll audit.
- Complete and distribute annual compensation statements for expatriate employees.
- Distribute new hire, separation, and transfer memos for domestic employees.
- Coordinate the annual Code of Ethics and compliance training for employees to include employee enrollment, pulling completion reports, troubleshooting system/login errors, and following up with employees to ensure training is complete, etc.
- Manage annual employee census, human capital and pay ratio reporting process.
- Assist with annual salary review and bonus process to include data collection, reporting, payroll updates, etc.
- Assist with salary administration to include banding and market research.
- Effectively communicate the company culture and values throughout the recruitment process and assess candidates’ cultural fit with the company.
- Assist with domestic and overseas new hire onboarding and orientations.
- Maintain and upload new hire documents, conduct reference and credit checks and manage employee document management, applicant tracking, onboarding, system enhancements and troubleshooting within the HRIS/ ATS.
- Maintain a recruitment dashboard to track and ensure metrics are met.
- Champion the employee referral program and internal application process.
- Schedule and manage monthly recruitment status meetings in coordination with HR Business Partner and maintain the internal recruitment status report.
- Manage relationships with external recruitment firms.
- Assist with the LinkedIn recruitment platform efforts to include posting jobs, candidate sourcing and outreach.
- Partner with the Communications Specialist to create an employer brand and develop new and innovative solutions for utilizing LinkedIn and various platforms to attract top talent.
- Conduct 30/60/90-day follow-ups with new employees and report metrics.
- Partner with Seaboard Corp HR to develop the domestic internship program on an annual basis. Manage campus recruitment and all hiring activities for interns. Partner with management to determine the number of interns that are needed on an annual basis. Partner with Communications Specialist to develop campus recruitment fliers, etc.
- Establish relationships and partner with recruiters from other Seaboard divisions to better understand recruitment needs.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- 3-5 years HR experience
- Required bachelor’s degree in HR, Business/Management, or related field.
- Excellent writing skills with demonstrated proficiency in grammar, proofreading and editing
- Preferred PHR or SHRM-CP certification
- Experience with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
