The Warehouse Operator II is responsible for supporting Warehouse operations including but not limited to the inspection, packing, shipping, and receiving of packages in and out of the warehouse.
Note: Individuals are crossed trained in all aspects of the warehouse responsibilities but may not be performing all of duties/responsibilities on a daily basis.
- Utilize the warehouse ERP system as needed.
- Prep orders as instructed on the packing slip.
- Inspect, Pack & Ship orders and any other package requested by other departments.
- Obtaining logistical information through third party portals (Ryder Freight) for certain customers.
- Coordinate with the Traffic team for shipments requiring freight pick up, SLI, and manual invoices.
- Process and ship requests for catalogs.
- Utilize internal applications such as Arena and U-Viewer for document retrieval.
- Unload and sort merchandise off of the delivery vehicles.
- Verify merchandise received and communicate any discrepancies.
- Receive and put-away products onto the shelves.
- Pick, pack, and ship orders requested by inter-office personnel.
- Assist in physical inventory and cycle counts.
- Handle all ESD products while wearing a company provided lab coat and foot strap.
- Research and resolve potential discrepancies if not, notify team leader, supervisor, or manager for resolution.
- Train level 1 and level 2 operators accordingly.
- High School Diploma, GED, or international equivalent
- 1 Year of warehouse experience is required.
- Prior experience in system ERP is preferred.
- Ability to read, write and orally communicate in English is a must.
- Basic computer skills required, including use of MS Office (Word, PPT, Excel)
- Must be Familiar with basic office equipment including telephone, third part carrier software, copier, USPS Neo-Post machine, and personal computer (PC).
- Must be able to utilize a forklift, and pallet jacks.
- Time management and prioritization are critical.
- Demonstrate an interest/creativity for increased productivity and warehouse space/system utilization.
