Reporting to the CEO or CRO, the Manager, Revenue Operations, is responsible for leading the Revenue Operations (RevOps) function. This individual will develop and execute a comprehensive revenue operations strategy that aligns with company goals, optimizes the customer journey, and drives revenue growth. They will oversee key performance metrics, GTM systems, sales processes, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment across sales, marketing, partnerships, and finance. The Managing Director, RevOps will also mentor the RevOps team, fostering a culture grounded in Elixir’s core values, and supporting strategic initiatives such as sales compensation planning, forecast management, and continuous process improvement.
Essential Functions
Under the general supervision of the CEO, the essential functions include:
Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue operations strategy aligned with company goals, focusing on optimizing the customer journey and achieving revenue targets
Establish and track key performance metrics and benchmarks to measure the effectiveness of Go-to-Market (GTM) teams and identify areas for continuous improvement
Create and execute a quarterly RevOps roadmap, addressing quantitative and qualitative challenges while communicating progress and outcomes to stakeholders
Lead and mentor the RevOps team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional development
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Alliances, Services, and Finance to ensure alignment and efficiency in achieving GTM objectives
Uphold high data quality standards across the organization, ensuring data relevance, accuracy, and reliability to support strategic decision-making
Drive the adoption and optimization of core GTM systems such as Salesforce and HubSpot, ensuring each team has the necessary tools for success
Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives, facilitating collaboration and achieving shared objectives across teams
Partner with Sales leadership to evaluate and optimize sales processes, driving efficiency and effectiveness across the revenue cycle
Participate in the annual sales quota, compensation, and sales organizational planning process
Develop standards for sales excellence including the agreed to guiding metrics, operational design, and process
Put in place systems of governance that leverage our technology stack to enforce best practices and stand for excellence across the revenue teams, including but not limited to Services, Sales, Marketing, and Alliances

Security Designate responsibilities include: Security Designates serve as the primary security contact for their assigned business unit. They are responsible for processing reports of security incidents, data breaches, and policy violations submitted by direct reports within the business unit and for notifying the acting Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of reported incidents, breaches, and violations. Security Designates also coordinate with the Human Resources Department and CISO to impose sanctions on direct reports who violate Elixir’s Security and Compliance policies or applicable legal requirements (e.g. GDPR, HIPAA, etc.). Security Designates monitor fulfillment of sanctions and notify the CISO when the terms of sanctions have been fulfilled. Additional responsibilities include processing complaints related to Elixir’s security and privacy program at the department level; submitting exception requests related to Elixir’s Security and Compliance policies to the CISO; and cooperating with investigations of security incidents, data breaches, and security and privacy violations. In carrying out responsibilities related to Elixir’s Security and Compliance program, Security Designates will utilize the appropriate forms available on the Security and Compliance site on SharePoint.
Competencies
Proven track record of success in optimizing revenue operations, driving revenue growth, and fostering a data-driven culture
Strong proficiency in GTM systems such as Salesforce and HubSpot with experience in implementing and optimizing these types of tools
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to leverage data insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement
Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional projects and initiatives, showcasing your ability to facilitate collaboration and achieve shared objectives
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and strategies clearly to a diverse range of stakeholders
Requirements
Required education and experience
Bachelor's degree
5+ years' experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or related roles within a B2B environment, with 3+ years in a leadership role
5+ years' experience in a B2B SaaS company
Experience working within CRM such as Salesforce and HubSpot (preferred)
Compensation
Base salary ranging from $129,000 - $151,000 per year, plus up to 10% of base salary in variable compensation, prorated based on start date. Compensation varies by experience, skills, and work location. Candidates based near our Ojai, CA office may be considered for the upper end of the range.
