Job Overview

Wasserman UK is working with a large technology company and their major football partnership — This will be the brand’s biggest football collaboration to date and a key driver of digital transformation within the league.

This partnership has both B2B and B2C goals: driving commercial growth by engaging IT decision-makers and connecting with a new generation of AI users through football.

Wasserman’s role includes partnership management, approvals, activation support, ticketing and hospitality, and inter-agency collaboration across key markets including the UK, US, Europe, and Asia.

We are looking for a Senior Partnerships Manager, who is passionate about technology and AI, with an understanding of Football to support and deliver this partnership at the highest level.

What You’ll Be Doing:

General account responsibilities include:

• Partnership planning aligned to client insights on target audience, objectives, budget parameters.

• Implementation and partnership roll out in conjunction with rights holder and sister agencies, and general account management of suppliers, budget and client reporting

• Partnership review, interpretation of measurement results and recommendations to the clients

Role specific responsibilities include:

• Management of key relationships with clients, rights holder and suppliers

· Management of weekly client and rightsholder status

• Oversee development and delivery of activations, implementation of partnership rights and touchpoints and success measurement against KPIs

· Management of ticketing and hospitality workstream including liaison with markets to ensure tickets are fulfilled and distributed

· Management of brand and rightsholder approvals process, including maintaining a market toolkit and liaising with markets on approvals on their content

· Management and fulfillment of suite of digital and physical partnership rights ranging from brand experiences to social activations

• Research trends and data to create and deliver strategic presentations

• Strive to meet client KPI’s and ensure activity is effectively measured

• Work across additional client programmes and activations

• Thorough appreciation of client budget parameters

• Continually seek cost saving measures and opportunities

• Pursue opportunities to grow business organically

• Monitor and approve spending of direct reports

• Manage team members, including an Account Executive, ensuring that tasks are being completed correctly, efficiently and timely

• Promote conflict resolution amongst staff, and recommend and manage solutions

• Regular interactions with Account Director to ensure client goals are managed

consistently

Additional Responsibilities

• Develop clear and concise internal and external presentations and reporting

• Demonstrate appropriate behaviours, conduct and professionalism in all interactive,

written and verbal communications

• Track time and financial expenses on a day-to-day basis

What We’re Looking For:

· Agency experience is preferred

· Tech fluency and passion, with exposure to using new innovations (including AI) in previous work

· Team management and mentoring experience

· Strong organisational skills, and a pro-active approach

- Ability to multi-task; you will be working across a number of activities with tight deadlines

- Presentation skills (both writing and delivery), internally and to clients / suppliers including use of Microsoft PowerPoint

• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written

• Creative thinking

• Ability to anticipate problems / issues and suggest proactive resolutions to be put into place
