About the Department

Position Duties
A master's degree in human or health services, social work, or a social sciences field; health care or behavioral health administration, nursing, or public health plus four years of experience providing health services, behavioral health treatment, social services, nursing, or counseling; OR
A doctorate in human or health services, social work, or a social sciences field; health care or behavioral health administration, nursing, or public health plus two years of experience providing health services, behavioral health treatment, social services, nursing, or counseling.

Job Duties:
Directs, plans, and implements the programs serving the residential treatment needs of the consumers through the Reaching Independence through Support and Education (R.I.S.E.) Treatment Center.
- Assesses program needs in residential services and makes recommendations to the Admin Program Director 4 relative to this as well planning and implementing special programming related to integrated care services.
- Administers treatment center programs by scheduling assignments and supervision work of subordinate staff.
- Oversees and assures the effective working operation and accessibility of the R.I.S.E. Treatment Center while determining organizational requirements of personnel, materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Initiates professional correspondence, completes reports as needed, participates in in-service trainings for staff, completes required trainings in a timely manner and participates in integrated care outreach initiatives, as assigned.
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: Probational, Promotional, Demotion, Lateral Transfer, or Detail to Special Duty
Compensation: NEDHSA is a designated approved National Health Service Corps (NHSC) site. Clinicians who work at NHSC-approved sites are eligible to apply to the NHSC Loan Repayment Program to pay off student loans.
- 2-year Full-Time Clinical Practice: NHSC will pay up to $50,000* for an initial 2 years of full-time clinical practice to clinicians.
