Colonial Pipeline is the largest refined products pipeline in the United States, transporting more than 100 million gallons or 2.5 million barrels per day. About the Manager, Field Technology Applications Position

What You Get to Do:
Lead and empower a team of software engineers and system administrators supporting field applications tied to SCADA and the suite of applications that manage the full lifecycle of pipeline product movement, Noms-to-Cash.
Drive innovation through strategic projects like the Controls Modernization Project (CMP) and SCADA Modernization Project (SMP).
Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Technology, and vendor partners to deliver high-impact solutions.
Champion excellence by fostering a culture rooted in safety, integrity, respect, innovation, and teamwork.
What You Bring to the Table:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study from an accredited college or university; will consider a combination of experience and/or education. An advanced degree is preferred.
Ideally, 8+ years in operations or industrial controls software development, including 2+ years in management.
Expertise in Operations software and hardware; SDLC, Agile, SCRUM methodologies; Field automation, PLCs, MQTT, Ignition; Data historian systems (e.g., PI Historian); Cloud and on-premises development; Secure coding and AI integration.
Preferred Certifications: SCRUM Master, Google Cloud Digital Leader, Generative AI Leader.
