Your Role as a Product Specialist
You will be responsible for setting up, evaluating, and reporting on trials for various assigned crops—Pepper and Tomato—working closely with our breeding departments.
Create trial plans for new varieties.
Organize trials in collaboration with the breeding and sales teams.
Manage, collect, and evaluate trial data using established formats and systems (such as Trial Data).
Follow phytosanitary protocols at third-party facilities to ensure trial quality and compliance.
Analyze, interpret, and report findings and recommendations from R&D trials to the R&D and Sales teams.
Identify promising experimental varieties across different regions in the Southeast of the USA.
Contribute to the decision-making process for variety selections by providing technical performance data (e.g., yield), descriptions, trial locations, and general crop recommendations.
Work regularly under pressure and in challenging weather conditions (high/low temperatures).
Perform computer-based tasks on a regular basis.
Frequent travel is required within your assigned region, primarily covering the states of Georgia and Florida.

What You Bring as Our Future Colleague
A bachelor’s degree in Horticulture or a related field.
3+ years of experience in the agricultural or seed industry.
Strong analytical abilities paired with a collaborative mindset.
Solid technical expertise in crop management.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel.
A flexible approach and a positive attitude toward change.
Excellent planning and organizational skills.
Willingness to travel frequently within the region.
The ability to perform under pressure, given the dynamic nature of the role.
What you can expect from us

Starting salary pay range: $75,000 - $88,000
