Summary:
The Part-Time Administrative Assistant provides and facilitates the smooth functioning of the Center for Well-Being’s front office. The person in this position must be a responsible, dependable, and supportive team member and, as the Center’s first point of contact, have excellent customer service skills.
Essential Functions:
1.) Client and Staff Scheduling
Answer phones, schedule Center for Well-Being appointments (e.g., initial consultations and advocacy appointments), greet walk-ins, manage staff and trainee requests for room scheduling.
2.) Client and Community Contact
Direct clients and process client paperwork, provide information to the AU community regarding Center services, observe and maintain confidential front office environment.
3.) Data Collection and File Maintenance
Create and maintain confidential files for clients. Direct fax and phone calls, trainee files and office mail.
4.) General Office Responsibilities
Proof and maintain office contact lists, manage front desk supplies, make copies, distribute materials, maintain shared office spaces (e.g., crisis room).

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Part-Time.
25 hours per week.
Schedule is 10am - 3pm.
Position duration is for 10 months.
Salary Range:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour.
Required Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1 - 3 years of relevant experience.
