The New England Blueprint Strategist is responsible for day to day and season-long content initiatives for both social media and television programming for New England Blueprint. This role will be responsible for assisting with the launch of the first season, as well as the maintenance of the show on a day-to-day basis. 

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

 

Content Development + Production

  • Build out segment themes/concepts + rundowns  
  • Source and book compelling content, ensuring alignment with show objectives  
  • Write rundowns for all ins and outs using diverse sources beyond the venue’s website 
  • Lead team through all non-client ins and outs  
  • Plan schedule and keep air grid up to date  
  • Create one sheets for every shoot (clients, regular segments, and social shoots)  
  • Work with videographers/editors to create storyboards for segments, and continue to work with them throughout the shooting/editing process  
  • Review video segments from videographers for quality, accuracy, and alignment with brand  
  • standards  
  • Ensure content is optimized for both linear and social media  
  • Ensure execution of production needs for clients in a timely manner  
  • Write commercial scripts and storyboard them out  
  • Attend 2-3 shoots per week to capture social media content for NEBP 
  • Ensure talent has everything they need day of shoot; scripts, props etc.  
  • Produce episode day of; communicate with restaurant team, time out the episode and capture social content  
  • Send segments and reminders to all segment contacts for episode airing details/links every  
  • Friday before a new episode airs  
  • Assist with Mall NEBP shoots (take social media and assist with shoot production)  
  • Interviews during the shoots when videographers need assistance 

Social Media + Marketing  

  • Capture, create, and post engaging social content across all platforms  
  • Capture social during client ins and outs  
  • Create a social media calendar for NEBP platforms  
  • Engage with our followers to ensure audience engagement  
  • Attend additional shoots when social media content is required  
  • Attend events in Boston + New England from PR friendlies and capture social content  
  • Monitor city trends and identify opportunities for relevant content  
  • Track social KPI’s and ensure our numbers are increasing each month  
  • Pull social numbers from Sprout weekly + share in one sheet format  
  • Report analytics from social media and linear media for clients when needed  
  • Edit content daily 

Client Relationships  

  • Ensure client assets are complete  
  • Keep sponsor tracker up to date  
  • Send segments, episodes and assets to clients for approval  
  • Communicate with videographer's regarding client updates and revisions  
  • Schedule and attend client meetings in person and virtual  
  • Weekly client outreach to schedule episodes, segments, commercials and additional assets  
  • Build out recap decks for client renewals  
  • Send downloadable links to clients/PR teams  
  • Host suites and client events 

Sales  

  • New business decks and value grids  
  • Prospective client meetings  
  • Build out one-sheets to provide to prospective clients 

Event Coordination  

  • Plan, manage, and execute events from ideation to post-event follow-up  
  • Coordinate event logistics, talent, and promotional content  
  • Ensure seamless integration of event coverage across digital platforms  
  • Post event content on social media 1-2 days after the event  
  • Capture social media during event  
  • Event analytics + KPIs post event

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of related experience in production, marketing, digital media, or public relations 
  • Experience with creative writing and copywriting strongly preferred. 
  • Knowledge of digital media and sponsorship coordination is strongly preferred 
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, Canva, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube  
  • Strong research skills, and interest in keeping a pulse in the food and hospitality space
  • Superb organizational and multi-tasking skills with ability to successfully prioritize 
  • Strong interpersonal skills as well as written/verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively in team environment; good ability to work in a fast-paced, loosely structured, growing and changing work environment
  • High level of professionalism, pleasant demeanor, and positive attitude. 
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including some nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed
  • Valid drivers license with reliable transportation
