In this position you would be responsible for reaching out to former customers, enhancing customer retention and satisfaction by checking in on recent service customers.
Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required
- Minimum 1 year of Automotive Service BDC experience (Preferred)
- Minimum 3 year of previous customer service experience
- Excellent telephone, writing, and typing skills
- Must be able to work weekends
- Must have a drive, passion and confidence to be successful
- Professional appearance and work ethic
- Bilingual, (Preferred but not necessary)
- Ability to multi-task in a demanding environment
- Team oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
- Valid driver's license
Essential Duties
- Proactively contact existing and previous service customers regarding upcoming maintenance needs, manufacturer recalls, and past declined services.
- Make follow-up calls to customers after a service appointment to ensure satisfaction.
- Place a high volume of outbound calls and manage customer responses via email and other digital communication.
- Set and confirm service appointments for the service department.
- Reschedule missed or "no-show" customer appointments.
- Document all customer interactions, notes, and communications accurately in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Answer customer questions about service offerings and promotions.
- Follow all company policies and procedures and processes.
- Periodically, you may be asked to perform other duties as assigned to assist the service department.
- Maintains a professional appearance.
