About the role

  • Proven experience managing the full lifecycle of assets — from installation and integration through to decommissioning and service continuity.
  • Strong ability to oversee contractors and service providers, ensuring delivery meets compliance, quality, and performance standards.
  • A track record in developing and maintaining asset management plans, compliance reporting, and accurate documentation across systems.
  • Confidence in supporting major projects, commissioning new assets, and embedding robust preventative maintenance programs.
  • A collaborative approach, with excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to WHS, risk management, and continuous improvement.

About you

  • Tertiary or trade-qualified in engineering, facilities, asset management, or construction with relevant hands-on experience.
  • Proven experience in plant and equipment maintenance, able to prioritise effectively under tight operational and financial deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of WHS, building/facility management policies, Australian Standards, and their application in healthcare.
  • Tech-savvy with experience in CMMS and proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Excellent planner and communicator, with the ability to influence and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
