USmax Corporation is seeking a Personnel Manager to support the U.S. Space Force’s Space Systems Command (SSC) Military Communications and Positioning, Navigation, and Timing Directorate PNT System Delta. The Personnel Manager will deliver comprehensive personnel and organizational support services, ensuring mission readiness, workforce development, and accurate management of training and records in a fast-paced operational environment. 

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Personnel and Readiness Management
    • Oversee personnel actions, rosters, and recall list maintenance for the PNT Systems Delta.
    • Ensure readiness and performance management processes meet mission requirements.
    • Support in/out processing and customer-facing personnel services.
  • Training and Professional Development
    • Coordinate training programs and development initiatives to build workforce capabilities.
    • Maintain training records and compliance with certification requirements.
    • Support professional development planning and readiness reporting.
  • Records and Information Management
    • Manage records and personnel data, ensuring compliance with federal, DoD, and Space Force requirements.
    • Protect and safeguard personally identifiable information (PII).
    • Conduct reviews of records for accuracy, completeness, and audit-readiness.
  • Customer Service and Administrative Support
    • Serve as the point of contact for DTS clerk functions, travel documentation, and administrative processing.
    • Provide responsive, solutions-focused support to leadership and staff.
    • Develop timely reports and updates for senior leaders on personnel readiness and training status.

Minimum Qualifications: 


  • 10+ years of personnel management or HR experience in defense, aerospace, or related federal organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage personnel readiness, training, and records in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of PII protection and records compliance.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field preferred.
  • Training and development certification (e.g., ATD, DAWIA HR) a plus.
  • Familiarity with DTS and Air Force/Space Force personnel systems strongly preferred.

Security Clearance Requirements: 

  • Current DoD Secret clearance

Work Location / Schedule: 

  • This position is hybrid, with regular onsite presence at Los Angeles AFB combined with telework flexibility.

Travel Requirements:  

  • Minimal travel (<10%) may be required for conferences, senior leader meetings, or special project support.
