USmax Corporation is seeking a Program Manager to support the United States Space Force Space Systems Command Military Communications and Positioning, Navigation, and Timing Directorate Product Support Delta MILSATCOM. The Program Manager will oversee acquisition support operations, integrating tasking, schedules, risks, reports, and communications at the Directorate level. The role requires strong leadership, coordination across multiple stakeholders, and the ability to deliver accurate, timely information for senior decision-makers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Task and Information Management
- Receive, document, assign, and track Directorate tasks through completion using digital task management tools.
- Respond to high-level information requests and reporting requirements from DoD, Space Force, SSC leadership, and other agencies.
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality control of submissions, reviews, and closeouts.
- Program Analysis and Reporting
- Review and consolidate program documents for consistency with regulations, directives, and acquisition standards.
- Conduct research and analysis to support situational awareness, milestone reviews, and strategic planning.
- Provide recommendations on acquisition documents, policy issues, and program improvements.
- Executive Communication and Engagement
- Draft, edit, and coordinate executive-level briefings, talking points, speeches, and testimony for senior leaders.
- Prepare high-quality presentations, graphics, and read-ahead materials for internal and external audiences.
- Support rapid-response taskers with accurate, polished products ready for leadership approval.
- Media and Public Release Support
- Coordinate messaging and materials for public releases, industry engagements, and partner communications.
- Ensure alignment with Space Force and DoD public affairs processes.
- Visit and Event Coordination
- Plan and manage senior leader visits, including agenda development, logistics, and documentation.
- Support Directorate participation in reviews, conferences, and formal events.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10+ years of program/project management experience in defense, aerospace, or related federal programs.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large volumes of tasks, reporting, and senior-level deliverables.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in acquisition program review and reporting.
- Proven ability to produce high-quality written materials for executive audiences.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and task management/collaboration tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (advanced degree desirable).
- PMP or DAWIA Program Management certification highly preferred.
- Experience working within Space Force, Air Force, or other DoD acquisition organizations.
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Current DoD Secret clearance
Work Location / Schedule:
- This is an on-site position at Peterson SFB, CO.
Travel Requirements:
Minimal travel (<10%) may be required for conferences, senior leader meetings, or special project support.
