Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to design, build, and maintain dashboards and data visualizations in Power BI that provide actionable insights for our Operations team. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will serve as a critical partner to both Finance and IT, ensuring accurate, accessible, and impactful reporting across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Dashboard Development & Maintenance: Build, enhance, and maintain operational dashboards in Power BI, ensuring accuracy, usability, and scalability.
- Data Access & Integration: Collaborate with the IT team to connect to and optimize data from data warehouses and other enterprise systems.
- Operational Insights: Partner with Operations leadership to design metrics and reports that highlight performance trends, identify risks, and support decision-making.
- Data Governance & Quality: Ensure data integrity and consistency across reports, implementing checks and standards where necessary.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the liaison between Finance, IT, and Operations to align business requirements with reporting deliverables.
- Analysis & Interpretation: Provide clear, actionable insights and recommendations by interpreting large, complex data sets.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes, automate manual tasks, and improve overall data visualization practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or reporting roles, ideally in an operations-focused environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI (DAX, data modeling, report publishing, and workspace management).
- Experience working with data warehouses and SQL for data extraction and transformation.
- Strong understanding of data visualization best practices and storytelling with data.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with route-based or multi-unit business models (preferred).
