As the Director of Talent Growth & Performance reporting to the SVP of People, you’ll lead top-of-funnel outreach, recruitment marketing, and conversion of GM-level hires while managing a lean, focused recruiting team filling critical field service roles. This isn’t your typical Talent or HR role. In fact, we believe the best person in this role likely comes from a background outside of traditional HR. It’s built for someone who thinks like an Operator and sells like a Sales Executive. This role is equally about finding top-tier talent and building a scalable engine to grow it. You’ll play a key role in developing a talent infrastructure that drives performance across our platform of high-growth residential service companies.
Why You’ll Want to Work Here:

- Performance pay directly tied to results – Get what you deserve
- Benefits you will use – Full medical, dental, and vision packages including fully employer paid options
- Secure your financial future – 401(k) with company match
- We invest in your future – ongoing training that directly results into bigger career opportunities combined with continuous education stipends
- Speed and scale – Work with a company that operates at the speed of a start up with the investment backing of institutional investors
Key Responsibilities:
- Directly recruit and close General Manager-level candidates to lead our local partner companies
- Build a high-performing GM talent pipeline using a sales-driven, always-on outreach and followup process
- Lead a team of field recruiters focused on technician-level hiring, improving funnel velocity and candidate quality
- Build repeatable systems that scale: scorecards, interview flows, and talent heatmaps
- Design and execute recruitment marketing strategies, leveraging digital channels, market intelligence, and brand storytelling
- Work with SVP of People to develop an inside sales culture for the field recruiting team and manage to a set of clear and revenue impacting KPIs
- Partner with Operations leadership to forecast hiring needs and prioritize top-line impact roles
- Own top-of-funnel metrics and candidate pipeline health for GM and technician roles across the enterprise
- Drive sourcing, outreach, and project management efforts with a strong sense of urgency and accountability
- Develop market-level talent playbooks that define the key traits of successful leaders by region and brand to inform localized talent growth strategies
- Design a repeatable market entry talent playbook for launching new branches with the right GM and support leaders
- Build and maintain a dynamic talent pipeline strategy to support future greenfield expansion and M&A integration
- Launch and support talent acceleration initiatives (e.g., GM bench development, Sales Manager pipelines) that prepare leaders ahead of business demand
- Collaborate with Learning & Development to ensure recruited talent is supported with onboarding and performance enablement programs
- Act as a strategic advisor to the SVP of People, CEO, and COO on talent scalability and succession planning in growth markets
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in an operational or sales role with a proven track record of delivering results
- Experience building or scaling recruiting or sales pipelines, ideally in a decentralized field-based business
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and hold a team accountable to performance outcomes
- Strong project management capabilities with a bias toward execution and speed
- Skilled at candidate engagement, storytelling, and closing especially at the leadership level
- Excellent communication, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities to improve things both big and small
- Highly organized, ability to act quickly while still having attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in sales, operations, or project management in a high-growth or field-based environment
