Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the company’s financial planning cadence, including annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range plans.
  • Perform monthly financial reporting, including forecast and budget variance analysis and reconciliations.
  • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing finance team; implement systems and processes to mature FP&A capabilities.
  • Maintain and enhance financial components of the business intelligence platform, including profitability by SKU.
  • Collaborate with business unit and department leaders to develop budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans.
  • Prepare and present business cases to support new investments, strategic initiatives, and other key decisions.
  • Provide detailed insights to senior management around financial modeling, forecasts, and profitability projections.
  • Support M&A activities, including financial due diligence, valuation modeling, and integration planning.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to the Board of Directors and investors, providing insights on financial performance and strategic initiatives.
  • Leverage data analytics to identify performance drivers, ROI opportunities, and operational improvements.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7–8 years of progressive experience in FP&A or related finance roles, including leadership experience.
  • Proven experience managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools such as Excel and financial planning software.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and present to executive audiences.
  • Working knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.

 Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with BI and financial systems (e.g., Tableau, Hyperion, Snowflake).
  • Prior involvement in M&A transactions and Board-level reporting.
