About this opportunity
Our Commercial Team plays a pivotal role in shaping strategic growth, launching new products and continuously improving insight, reporting, and forecasting. We’re responsible for the end-to-end profitability of vehicles throughout their lifecycle, working cross-functionally across the business to drive long-term, sustainable success.
As Commercial Insight Lead, you’ll play a central role in delivering decision-shaping insight and forward-looking analysis across key services including insurance, repairs, and maintenance. You’ll use your commercial acumen and analytical skills to identify opportunities, mitigate risks and guide strategic decisions. With regular exposure to the Managing Director and Senior Leadership Team, this is a visible role that blends data, strategy and business partnering.
Key responsibilities
Deliver high-quality commercial analysis and forecasting, with a focus on insurance, maintenance and repairs.
Prepare and present monthly performance reporting, including variance analysis and trend insights for senior stakeholders.
Develop and enhance tools and processes for monitoring service performance
Identify risks, opportunities and key profitability drivers through proactive data exploration.
Partner with internal stakeholders and external partners to inform process enhancements.
Support wider strategic initiatives, including product innovation, pricing decisions and commercial planning.
What you'll need
Proven experience in a commercial, financial or analytical role, with a strong understanding of profitability, pricing and performance metrics.
An analytical mindset, able to turn complex data into clear, actionable insight.
Excellent presentation and communication skills – confident creating structured, compelling decks and delivering them to senior stakeholders.
Comfortable operating in fast-paced, dynamic environments; able to balance detail with strategic perspective.
Proactive, curious and self-sufficient, with a drive to understand and improve how the business operates
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills (experience with data visualisation tools is a bonus)
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys combining analytical thinking with real-world impact in a business that’s driving the transition to electric vehicles.
