About the Opportunity 

Client Development Assistant | $50k-55k commensurate with experience

David Zwirner seeks a full-time Client Development Assistant at its Chelsea New York gallery. This role will support the Client Development team by maintaining client records, developing targeted client lists for a range of initiatives and assisting the Client Development Senior Director and the Client Development Associate with ongoing projects.

Candidates must be diligent, extremely organized, and possess excellent time management and communication skills. Previous experience with data entry, updating records and research is strongly recommended. This role involves significant exposure to client information, therefore discretion is essential.

What you’ll do: 

  • Update records and keep the most accurate information for collectors and institutions.
  • Create client lists for marketing, events, and other development initiatives.
  • Liaise with the global Sales Assistants for immediate needs and long-term projects.
  • Support the Client Development Associate on all client data for a range of projects.
  • Manage the schedule and office of the Client Development Senior Director.

What we would like you to have: 

  • BA in Art History and/or Arts Administration
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, particularly Google Sheets
  • Superb communication and time management skills
  • Ability to creatively problem solve
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
