ABOUT THE ROLE

Regional Vice President supports the strategic planning process for retail as well as oversees implementation of segment plans across retail operations-ensuring that all the different locations provide maximum profitability. 

The regional vice president coordinates strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting across multiple sales locations, helping driving regional success as well as development and coaching of general managers.  They are accountable for results development and continuous improvement of Cavco operations. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (All or some of these duties will be performed)

  • Develops strategic plans, forecasts and budgets.
  • Oversees multiple sales centers.
  • Coaches and develops general managers and develops succession planning for general managers.
  • Maintains open communication with retail general managers regarding financial performance and achievement of established goals for market share and personnel performance.
  • Performs function of GM in absence of GM on a sales center in their territory.
  • Conducts ongoing sales training for both new and existing sales consultants.
  • Train and develop people so they can perform their current job and be prepared for career growth.
  • Development of effective marketing campaigns to drive online and in person lead generation.
  • Responsible for conducting business in an ethical manner consistent with our Code of Conduct and legal practices.
  • Monthly review of financial results.
  • Conduct periodic and ad hoc performance evaluations of their team.
  • Performs various other job duties as assigned and needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICIATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years sales management
  • Demonstrated ability to support multiple teams in order to consistently meet production goals is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to support and encourage staff, demonstrate empathy for others, to be trained, and take direction is required. This ability should include an appreciation for coaching of other people leaders (development of general managers who in turn must have or learn how to coach and develop other managers and individual team members).
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Flexible to work in a fast paced, changing environment.
  • Must be able to travel within designated territory up to 75% of the time.
