  • Clerk Grade 5/6 | $99,938 - $110,271 plus superannuation

  • Deliver high-quality admin and project support for leadership programs
  • Coordinate professional learning, resources and participant logistics
  • Prepare reports, track schedules and support efficient program delivery

About you

  • Strong background in providing admin and project support in a busy team environment
  • Skilled in coordinating events, professional learning and stakeholder communications
  • Confident with digital tools, data entry, spreadsheets and records management systems
  • Able to plan, prioritise and meet tight deadlines while managing competing demands
  • Clear and professional communicator with a customer-focused approach
  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

 

Essential requirements of the role

  • Proven experience in a project and administrative capacity supporting high performance teams delivering professional learning programs and support resources, with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Hold a valid clearance to work with children (Working with Children Check) for paid employment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.

Renewal is not required after the WWCC expires, as long as you remain in a non–child-related role. Employer obligations only apply while the WWCC is valid.

 

Candidates must have Australian work rights (citizens, permanent residents, New Zealand citizens or a valid work visa). Ongoing (permanent) roles are open to Australian citizens and permanent residents and New Zealand citizens, while temporary roles welcome applicants with a visa.
