Venue scouting
- Liaise with our internal teams and project managers to provide a holistic view of potential venue options.
- Lead venue scouting efforts, assessing feasibility from a technical, experiential, and financial perspective.
- Source venues that align with our production needs, while ensuring they are suitable and unique.
- Represent the company at site visits, meetings, and local events to build a portfolio of diverse and beautiful venues.
- Coordinate communication between internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- You have a proven track record of successfully producing events and a strong network of vendors and venues.
- You thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, with an exceptionally detail-oriented and flexible mindset.
- You have strong data analysis, written, and oral communication skills, and a proven ability to build positive working relationships.
- You are a problem-solver with a strategic approach to thinking and a huge appetite for learning.
- You are comfortable with a mix of business development and operational responsibilities and are passionate about the entertainment and events industry.
- You can manage multiple projects at once, pulling together various aspects of an event in an organized and efficient way.
- Basic knowledge of reading floor plans and technical drawings is a plus.
- Familiarity with permitting processes is a plus.
- You are highly organized, efficient, and have excellent time management skills.
- You have previous experience negotiating and closing real estate contracts or live events production management.
- Domestic and international travel may be required.
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in the event production industry.
