Position Summary:
To assist in achievement of the company’s strategic objective and annual goals through the delivery of exceptional service and support reflective of Hiller Plumbing Heating Cooling and Electrical (the Company) vision, mission, purpose, and values.
Responsibilities:
-As Residential Plumbing subject matter expert, oversee all activities relating to researching, updating and deploying Hiller’s product/service offering -
- Conduct ongoing market research to maintain awareness of customer needs, market trends and competitor offerings in our served spaces
- Evaluate product/service additions/improvements and build consensus business case proposals for senior management that result in differentiated value proposition and profitable growth across the Hiller system, to include:
Technician certifications in support of Director of Training
Material and equipment posture, in support of Purchasing
Regulatory assessments covering all Hiller locations
Sequenced launch planning across Hiller system
Provide context for Marketing objectives for product/service offering to include seasonal promotions
Deliver timely tax credit analyses related to product offering
In the context of competitive space, maintain product line profitability by continuously monitoring pricing / proposing adjustments in the face of vendor price or cost structure changes (digital, paper)
Develop and maintain customer-facing price tools in support of Sales/Marketing
Monitor, evaluate and manage vendor inventories and footprint to provide required service levels to operations while minimizing overall system cost
-Confer with leadership teams to ensure performance according to Hiller standards
-Support Director of Training on end-user training and training materials related to (Trade).
-Other projects, duties and ad hoc analyses as assigned.
Position Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or related field.
-Three to five years’ Plumbing trade product management experience with an emphasis on analytics and product launch
-A determined, detail-oriented individual who is highly analytical, and a critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret the user requirements as well as think “out of the box" when addressing the Company’s reporting needs.
-Ability to engage in active dialogue with enterprise stakeholders and data providers.
-Self-starter who can work independently, establish priorities and be a strong team player.
-Superior multi-tasking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, often deadline-oriented, and dynamic environment.
-Versatile, engaged, a self-starter, and analytically driven.
-Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
-A sound understanding and experience with demonstrated proficiency within the Microsoft Office suite of products.
-Experience recognizing business problems and developing solutions.
