Capex Procurement Manager

In your future role as a Capex Procurement Manager, you will

 

  • Support procurement activities for small to medium CapEx projects across various phases, including initiation, study, pre-project, detailed engineering, and execution.
  • Assist in the development of project procurement strategies and plans in collaboration with project managers and site asset managers.
  • Engage early in the budgeting estimation process to assist with RFP / RFQ Process.
  • Engage Category Management colleagues for Bid list assistance and recommendation
  • Raise awareness of supply issues within projects and support resolution plans.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of project risk management strategies.
  • Support Team in implementation of cost reduction strategies and plans.
  • Assist in reporting project-related savings and maintaining the project savings pipeline.
  • Support procurement execution in compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with engineering contractors during project procurement execution.
  • Participate in negotiations for small to medium projects and assist in setting up project-specific contracts.
  • Build expertise in project procurement and apply best practices within the region, seeking external market insights.
  • Assist in managing supplier-related risks within projects.
  • Travel is 25%-40% annually.

 

 

We believe you bring

 

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering or a related field.
  • 4-8 years’ experience in a Procurement Leadership role.
  • Strategic procurement plan development.
  • Supplier Selection and Management experience.
  • Contract Negotiation expertise.
  • Stakeholder Engagement.
  • Compliance and Governance expertise.
  • Continuous Improvement.
  • Reporting and Documentation.

 

Great if you have

 

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with all organizational levels and external contacts.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams within an international environment.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess data and technical requirements.
