This temporary position (6 months) supports members to keep their covenants and to gather Israel by supporting the warehouse and logistic operations in providing Church materials to members and friends in Europe.
Responsibilities
- Process administrative tasks, particularly to organize shipping documentation and communicate with customers, as well as internal and external partners.
- Coordinate with inventory management team, logistics providers, and partners to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.
- Will serve as a resource to others in the resolution e.g., support customs procedures (import and export), transportation challenges as well as proactive in identifying solutions.
- Compile data and report on operational performance measures.
Qualifications
- Two years post-secondary education in relevant business field and minimum of two years professional experience in the logistics industry or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with warehouse management systems e.g., Microsoft Dynamics is advantageous.
Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal). Other European languages are an advantage, specifically German. - Confident and highly efficient with computerized business applications of the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel (spreadsheets, tables, forms, charts, etc.).
- Advanced office skills to include: excellent communication skills, good research, analytical and data summation skills, and tasks that require independent analysis and error solution finding.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma or continuous improvement practices is advantageous.
