Position Summary:

We seek a dynamic and compassionate Placement Strategist to spearhead the development and execution of support systems that facilitate optimal placements for "North Star" children and young adults. This role is critical in ensuring the provision of safe and nurturing environments for our clients and involves extensive collaboration with foster parents and other stakeholders to enhance service delivery and outcomes.

 

Data Management and Analysis:

  • Conduct comprehensive data collection through surveys, focus groups, and discussions with key stakeholders (foster parents, staff, and "North Star" individuals)
  • Analyze data to identify strengths and areas for improvement in our placement processes
  • Monitor and evaluate training programs for foster parents and staff, providing feedback and recommendations for enhancements
  • Implement and refine pre-placement strategies to optimize matching between "North Star" individuals and potential foster families
  • Perform financial analyses related to care days, revenue, and costs associated with "North Star" placements

 

Leadership and Training:

  • Develop and maintain strategic alliances to support "North Star" children, young adults, foster parents, and staff
  • Design and lead training initiatives focused on the "North Star" program to ensure alignment and effectiveness across the organization

 

Strategic Outcomes

  • Improve placement stability and outcomes for "North Star" individuals through coordinated efforts and resource optimization
  • Increase foster parent engagement and retention by enhancing support structures and recognition initiatives
  • Coordinate with the MarCom Team to develop and execute marketing strategies to attract and retain foster families willing to support "North Star" placements
  • Analyze and communicate financial and risk assessments to stakeholders to inform strategic decisions and potential legislative advocacy

Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Human Resources, Business, or Organizational Development
  • At least 2 years of experience in foster care settings
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficient in data analysis and capable of making data-driven decisions
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
  • Knowledgeable in locating behavioral health and community resources
  • Excellent written, oral, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of and the skill set to locate behavioral health and community resources
  • Valid driver’s license
  • 100/300/100 auto insurance coverage
  • Obtain the training necessary for this role
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
  • Successful completion of all required criminal background checks.
  • Must possess the skills to navigate and execute software programs (i.e. Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Office, Database, Electronic Health Record, Dashboard)
