We are seeking a reliable and skilled Commercial Painter & Decorator to join our dedicated team. You will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying a range of paints and finishes, and ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard, mostly in commercial environments like offices, teaching spaces, and communal areas, both internal and external.
You will have proven experience as a Painter & Decorator, with specific experience in commercial or educational settings.
Key responsibilities will involve:
- Preparing surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and filling.
- Applying primers, undercoats, and finishing coats of paint to a high-quality standard.
- Expertly applying graphics, film and other decorative finishes.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations and best practices on site.
- Working efficiently, often to tight schedules, to complete projects on time.
- Collaborating with other trades and team members as required.
- Interpreting project plans and client specifications.
Your skills and experience will include:
- Strong knowledge of different painting techniques and materials.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a thorough approach to work.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Good practical skills and manual dexterity and the ability to carryout minor repairs.
- A flexible and positive attitude towards new situations and challenges.
- A valid CSCS card would be advantageous.
- A clean UK driving licence is beneficial.
