We are looking for a talented Inventory Supervisor to join our team in Walton KY - on site. We do provide relocation assistance for those that may need to relocate to the Walton KY area.

 

Provides operations leadership for small or medium size warehouse or Distribution Center, shift or department. Manages one or multiple shifts of warehouse operations including transportation and packaging. Provide safe working environment for all Atmus and contract employees. Ensure internal and external customer requirements are met through the Atmus Operating System.

 

 

Responsibilities

Oversee a team of inventory coordinator/cycle counters across two shifts.  Supervise daily inventory activities, QA activities, RMA’s for the site, Reboxing process, Kitting and J-Pac activities.

Works closely with Inventory team to maintain inventory in WMS and SOMS systems that create visibility to inventory aging for obsolescence in line with pre-determined inventory level goals.

· Monitors and maps model changes to ensure facility slotting remains accurate to velocity levels, and changes are completed in a timely manner.

· Create, monitor, and improve rigorous cycle counting processes that supports the overall inventory management strategy through pre-determined count frequencies following SOP guidelines with goal to maintain accuracy and reduce waste. 

· Train, guide, and monitor inventory staff to ensure compliance with SOPs and all company policies.  Ensure team completes new product SOP guidelines for data to be input in SOMS and WMS in a timely manner. 

· Analyze inventory data to direct investigations into any inventory inconsistencies.  Work with team and Quality Dept. to effectively drive resolution of them. 

· Ensuring that any third-party inventory rework is managed appropriately in the QA dept. 

· Recommend and assist with the recruitment, training, and onboarding of any new inventory support staff and site staffing.

· Maintain all required documentation and records which are required for inventory reporting.

· Collaborate with Operations team, Quality team, Finance team, Materials team, Engineering team, Customer Service, Sales, etc.  Work with site management to create and report out inventory KPI’s on a regular cadence. 

· Work with our external audit compliance firms, internal compliance team, and finance team by providing data and reports timely on a regular cadence.

· Collaborate with safety and HR on employee concerns including performance reviews, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and staff engagement initiatives, as assigned.

· Maintain a clean, safe, organized inventory environment in compliance with safety standards at all times. 

· Perform other duties as assigned.

 

 

Qualifications

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

College, university, or equivalent degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related previous subject experience required. MBA preferred. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

  • Must be very comfortable working with external auditors 

  • 5 years min of managerial experience in inventory

  • 5 years min compliance/reporting/external audits
  • Must have experience in supervising daily inventory activities, QA activities, RMA’s for the site, Reboxing process, Kitting and J-Pac activities.

  • Must be comfortable managing multiple shifts of warehouse operations including transportation and packaging.

 

Competencies: Microsoft Office with extensive Excel experience, Cycle Counting, Operations Management, Inventory Control Software, Data Collection, Inventory Management, Material Management, Planning Strategy, ERP systems, Strong Communication Skills, Teamwork, Leadership, Detail Oriented, Results and Goal Driven, Analytical, Initiative, Integrity, and Operational Excellence. 

 

Base salary range: $90,000.00 to $95,000.00/year  

Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate. 

Compensation and Benefits
