Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and orientation processes for new staff and program participants.
- Manage interviewing schedule with chosen applicants, hiring managers, and appropriate staff.
- Schedule background checks and drug screens for all newly hired staff.
- Schedule and conduct all new staff and program participant orientations.
- Contact job applicants to inform them of the status of their applications.
- Coordinate with outside staffing agencies to secure temporary employees, based on departmental needs.
- Work with hiring managers to identify and meet current or anticipated staffing needs.
- Prepare or maintain employment records related to recruiting, hiring, onboarding and orientation using human resources information system (HRIS) software.
- Review employment applications in Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and job orders to match applicants with job requirements.
- Prepare paperwork for employee terminations.
- Conduct exit interviews and ensure that necessary employment termination paperwork is completed.
- Complete additional assignments and HR projects as directed by the Human Resources Manager.

Requirements
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Excel software.
- Demonstrated ability to coach new-hires and reinforce proper policy/procedure with existing staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business, Accounting, or related field preferred. Five (5) years of work experience in Human Resources accepted in lieu of education.
- Two years of work experience in a Human Resources environment required.
- Experience using HRIS, Paylocity preferred.
