Rustica is seeking an experienced Sales & Customer Experience Representative to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers and potential customers, handling both sales and service interactions. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales and Service, you’ll connect with customers primarily over the phone (inbound and outbound), and also via email and online chat.
We’re looking for someone who thrives on building relationships, closing sales, and providing outstanding support. The ideal candidate has proven experience in sales and is eager to grow their customer service skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Prior Experience & Skills
- Experience working in a call center or high-volume customer contact environment
- Comfortable working an 8-hour shift at a dedicated workstation while maintaining focus and productivity
- Proven success with outbound sales, including proactive prospecting and follow-up to meet or exceed sales goals
- Customer service expertise, with the ability to resolve issues, answer questions, and create positive customer experiences
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for phone, email, and online chat interactions
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with CRM systems or sales software preferred

- Strong desire to meet and exceed established goals and objectives with a results-driven mindset
- Quick learner with the ability to understand Rustica’s diverse product line and effectively communicate features and benefits to customers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with a wide range of customers
- Skilled in diffusing tense or challenging situations, working toward collaborative solutions and creating win/win outcomes
- Proficient with basic technology including email, internet, CRM tools, and online chat platforms
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Strong active listening and problem-solving skills to identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently and take initiative when needed
- Professional, positive, and adaptable in changing situations
Hours
40 Hours per week working Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays and holidays.
