The Telecommunications Quality Control Technician inspects work done by construction crews and contractors to ensure policies and guidelines are being upheld and safety measures adhered to. This role requires attention to detail and a strong knowledge of fiber optics.
Primary Responsibilities

- Work on-site with the crews daily (in varied weather conditions)
- Ensure correct depths of facilities, placement, and that the correct number of handholes, among other things, are installed and in the desired locations
- Enforce compliance and safety regulations, staying up to date on PPE requirements
- Report to damage hits done by internal crews to assist in investigation and resolution
- Resolve design issues in the field during construction and, when necessary, interpreting company guidelines for solutions
- Providing quality control to ensure construction/engineering standards/specifications are adhered to
- Represent the company in interactions with landowners and customers
- Inspect jobs and/or worksite restoration to ensure work performed by employees and subcontractors meets quality expectations, customer standards and contract requirements
- Record and document inspection results, delivering feedback to supervisors, employees, and contractors as needed

Experience Requirements
- 2 or more years of relevant inspection experience from the telecommunications, construction, or utilities industries
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with a construction MSO or Telecom Operator preferred
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Valid drivers license
Physical Demands

- Lifting up to 50 pounds on occasion
- Ability to drive to various work sites during the workday
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
Compensation & Benefits:
The salary range for this position is: $60,000-82,000 annually
Actual base pay for this job will depend on the candidate’s primary work location and other factors, such as relevant skills and experience. Pavlov Media is committed to complying with the Equal Pay Act and places a strong emphasis on internal equity when determining compensation. Final pay will be determined based on the candidate’s skills, experience, and alignment with our internal equity standards, ensuring fairness and consistency across the organization. The salary banding for this role also allows room for growth, with opportunities for pay increases within the band based on performance and contributions.
