Hourly Rate: $18.50 hr. - $27.75 hr. Depending on experience. Plus, Quarterly Bonuses

JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for all debit/credit card and ATM dispute processing in addition to reviewing daily, monthly, and annual reports. This position will process approved debit, credit and ATM applications and maintenance according to Credit Union policy and procedures. Assists in balancing general ledger accounts and credit card collection. This position is responsible for filing and retention of all debit/credit card files and paperwork. Research and resolve member and staff inquiries regarding Plastic Card issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (a summary of general responsibilities, but not limited to)
- Process approved, denied and withdrawn debit/credit card applications according to MY Credit Union’s policy.
- Research and resolve staff/member debit or credit card inquiries which includes but is not limited to account statements, disputes, monetary adjustments, and card recovery after loss.
- Handle all compromised cards according to Credit Union policy and Visa/MC regulation
- Originate, process, and resolve member credit, debit, and ATM disputes according to Credit Union policy and Visa/MC regulation
- Process and promptly file maintenance pertaining to credit, debit, and ATM cards
- Update and maintain all Plastic Card spreadsheets
- Assist the Member Solutions department with credit card collection duties.
- Process and monitor insurance claims due to plastic card losses
- Update, maintain and balance plastic card general ledgers
- Review credit/debit reports daily
- Files all debit/credit card files in accordance with MY Credit Union’s record retention schedule.
- Perform projects to enhance Plastic Card Program.

- Provides member and staff support as described on MY Credit Union’s Mission statement
- Represents the Credit Union in a courteous and professional manner, providing prompt, efficient and accurate service in the processing of transactions.
- Properly follow security procedures.
- To remain compliant with MY Credit Union’s policies and procedures.
- Cross sell Credit Union Products and Services
- Participates in Coaching Program
- Performs other duties as needed or assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- 2 years or more of customer service.
- Credit Union experience preferred.
Other Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must be bondable and honest.
- Understand MY Credit Union’s core system.
- Knowledge of MY Credit Union products and services.
- Ability to read and interpret forms, account statements, legal documents, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to concentrate, use reasoning, and analyze situations. The continuous need to be very alert to the employee and member’s needs, be resourceful, solve problems and use writing ability.
- Proficiently operate a computer. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows operating system.
- Ability to read, writes, and speaks English. Bi-lingual skills helpful.

Physical Requirements:
- The employee must be able to lift 35 pounds.
- The employee is regularly required to stand for extended periods; use their hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The employee must be able to read from a computer screen and enter data with the use of a keyboard.
Working Conditions:
- Stress varies depending on workflow from high to low.
- Some travel between offices may be required.
