Job Overview:
The Shipping Associate will provide logistical support for the Shipping and Receiving management process. Associate will report to the shipping supervisor and will be responsible for pulling and inspecting orders as directed. This is an on-site hourly position at our Fall River location 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM Monday – Friday, with possible additional hours during peak times and at fiscal year-end (March).
Shipping Clerk Responsibilities:
- Execute all aspects of the order pick and ship process for freight and small parcel shipping as assigned.
- Efficiently pick customer orders per pick list.
- Efficiently inspect all products pulled by other order pickers.
- Wrap pallets for shipping and load trucks.
- Operate reach truck, forklift, and pallet jack.
- Utilize handheld scanners for all transactions.
- Maintain excellent personal safety.
- Preform Cycle Counts as assigned.
- Assist receiving department as assigned.
- Collaborate to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Flexibility to cross train in other departments as needed.
Essential Skills, Education & Experience:
- High level of accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail.
- 1-3 years shipping experience both domestic and international.
- 1-3 years experience operating a reach truck and forklift.
- Ability to perform math functions associated with the job such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking
- Able to work independently or as part of a team with limited supervision.
Compensation: RectorSeal has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market position. The target salary range for this hourly opportunity is $19/hr. - $23/hr. Plus, an annual bonus incentive.
Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the CSWI Board of Directors.
