Opportunity
Join Astera Labs as a full-cycle technical recruiter owning the end-to-end recruiting process, from role exploration & kick-off with managers to candidate acceptance. This role will play a critical role in the continued rapid growth of Astera Labs and will have a unique focus on sourcing passive candidates and unlocking new sources of top engineering talent that align to our goals and values. This role will be on-site in our San Jose office.
Responsibilities
Recruiting:
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening to interviewing to closing hard to close top talent with a focus on building a more inclusive organization.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract engineers with diverse skill sets and experience levels.
- Utilize various channels, including LinkedIn, industry events, and professional networks, to identify and engage passive candidates.
- Creative methods to drive towards stretch hiring goals will be required.
Relationship Building:
- Collaborate with hiring managers and other stakeholders to understand current and future staffing needs, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Deep technical dives will be required to understand roles and responsibilities.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with diverse semiconductor professionals, industry organizations, relevant institutions to establish a robust talent pipeline.
Market Knowledge:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market intelligence, and competitor information to provide insights into the semiconductor talent landscape.
- Analyze and interpret market data to inform recruitment strategies and contribute to the development of competitive compensation packages.
Candidate Assessment:
- Conduct thorough screening interviews and assessments to evaluate technical skills, cultural fit, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide constructive feedback to hiring managers and collaborate on final candidate selection.
Process Optimization:
- Continuously improve and optimize the recruitment process, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement innovative sourcing techniques and tools to stay ahead in attracting top semiconductor talent.
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in end-to-end recruiting focused within the Semiconductor industry.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, demonstrating resilience and flexibility.
The base salary range for this full-time position is $140,000 - $160,000, in addition to bonus, equity and benefits.
