What You’ll Do
Contracts and Commercial Support
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements including SaaS and on-prem agreements, MSAs, NDAs, vendor agreements, consulting agreements, DPAs, and partnership agreements.
Lead legal support for complex, high-value enterprise sales transactions, and work closely with our sales team to close deals.
Build strong working relationships with customer legal teams to accelerate adoption.
Data Privacy and Compliance
Guide Braintrust’s compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant frameworks.
Partner with product and engineering to embed privacy and security best practices into the platform.
Own negotiation of DPAs and security addenda in commercial agreements.
Scaling the Legal Function
Develop contract playbooks, template agreements, and streamlined processes for the sales team.
Implement tools and systems to increase visibility, improve workflows, and maintain deal velocity.
Support governance, risk, and compliance programs.
Cross-Functional Partnership
Collaborate with Sales, Finance, HR, Product, and Engineering to ensure legal alignment across the business.
Provide strategic guidance on commercial legal matters, emerging regulations, and market trends.
Support leadership with corporate governance and fundraising as needed.
