What you'll do
Leading and Mentoring the Team: Guide and support a team of Claims First Responders, who are the first point of contact for Prima drivers when something goes wrong. Your team will collect information about what happened and the damage to the vehicle to initiate the claims process.
Ensuring Quality and Efficiency: Oversee the team's work to ensure claims are handled accurately and efficiently, from the initial call to the escalation of complex cases. This includes verifying claims and being alert to potential fraud indicators.
Developing Team Members: Work with individual team members to create personal growth plans, leveraging Prima's teaching and learning marketplace. Provide regular coaching and feedback to help them grow their skills in claims handling, customer service, and problem-solving.
Driving Process Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to improve our claims handling processes to make things quicker and easier for customers. You will use your initiative to suggest ways we can enhance how we do things.
Collaborating with Stakeholders: Work closely with specialist teams and other departments within Prima to ensure claims are progressed smoothly and efficiently.
What we’re looking for
Experience in a Team Leader / Supervisor role, within Claims Handling and/or FNOL
Strong understanding of motor insurance claims processes, particularly FNOL
Proven ability to coach, mentor, and grow team members who are early-in-care
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to effectively guide your team and interact with other departments and stakeholders within Prima
Strong attention to detail, with a problem-solving attitude
Comfortable working in a growing / scale-up business environment
