Salary range: £157,586 - £191,242 p.a. inc. London weighting
Contract: Permanent
Hours of work: 36 hours per week
Location: Civic centre and other locations from time to time
We’re looking for a strategic and experienced leader to join our senior team as Corporate Director, Residents and Housing Services. You’ll lead the delivery of resident, housing, and customer services, ensuring compliance with housing legislation and driving continuous improvement across Brent Council.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop high-performing teams across Resident Services, Housing Services, and Housing Needs.
- Build strong partnerships with residents, elected members, and stakeholders.
- Manage a combined budget of £85m+ and over 600 staff.
- Drive service improvements, innovation and transformation. ,
- Ensure robust governance, risk management, and compliance.
- Support emergency planning as part of the Gold rota and act as Corporate License Holder for Mortuaries and Registrars.
Who You Are:
- Experienced senior leader with a strong understanding of local government.
- Skilled in managing large teams and budgets.
- Excellent communicator with proven ability to lead change.
