We’re seeking a driven, persuasive Enrollment Coordinator Senior to develop and coordinate graduate and undergraduate student enrollment functions, including outreach campaigns, enrollment support, and the cultivation of collaborative relationships with academic departments and other stakeholders under the direction of Enrollment Center leadership. Every day you will make a difference in the lives of others by building and fostering relationships with learners, supporting them throughout the final stages of the enrollment process, as well as providing mentorship to other EdPlus Enrollment Coordinators. 


Essential Duties: 

  • Serves as a critical point of contact for students using a variety of communication methods, including, but not limited to phone calls, chats, emails, or texts to answer questions and support retention efforts. 
  • Consistently performs detail-oriented work correctly and efficiently at a faster than average pace. 
  • Coordinates with other departments for additional relationship building, coaching, and enrollment support. 
  • Communicates effectively both written and verbally with a persuasive, motivating, teaching style to explain policies, programs, and systems while being helpful and responsive to student needs and concerns. 
  • Works collaboratively with students, helping them complete specific tasks and prepare for class. 
  • Uses resources and critical thinking skills to provide the best information and direction for students, troubleshooting issues when necessary. 
  • Continuously innovates and identifies process improvements to better students' experiences every day. 
  • Maintains a positive, “How can I help?” attitude. 
  • Cultivates relationships with the ASU community to ensure that recruitment program goals and objectives are accomplished. 
  • Leads by example and provides mentorship to EdPlus Enrollment Coordinators with first-hand knowledge of their area of expertise while operating in a team environment. 
  • Assumes or coordinates other duties or projects as assigned or directed. 
Requirements


Desired Qualifications: 

  • Evidence of a bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field. 
  • Experience with EdPlus at ASU Enrollment Center policies and procedures. 
  • Experience in pulling, analyzing, and applying pertinent data sets. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the challenges faced by enrolled students entering higher education (first generation, returning adults, financially constrained). 
  • Demonstrated skill in a customer-first mentality and a principle-thinking approach to innovate in delivering a world-class customer service experience. 
  • Experience in designing presentation materials with an understanding of the audience. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Salesforce. 
  • Demonstrated skill in organization and time management to balance multiple competing needs and requests in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. 
  • Demonstrated superior skill in both verbal and written communication. 
  • Experience managing quickly changing priorities that may include resolution of conflicts. 
  • Experience in using critical thinking skills to make decisions and/or analyze and report data/results of tests conducted. 
  • This position is only open to current employees of the Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR) system, which includes Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University, and the University of Arizona. 


Education, Certifications and Licensures:

  • Associate’s degree
