As the Inside Sales Representative II, you will be responsible for managing a defined customer account list as well as seeking out new customers through emailing, cold calling, and face-to-face interactions. You will provide solutions to customers seeking equipment and will be involved in the lead follow-up process for incoming leads, all while working in a team environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Contacts customers on a defined account list to deliver equipment solutions to the customer per established guidelines.
  • In addition to improved participation on deals and market share, expected results include incremental increase in revenue.
  • Collaborates daily with other Sales Reps (Outside Sales Reps, Sales Specialists, PSSRs, and General Line Sales Reps) to develop and deliver solutions for customers.
  • Meets and exceeds individual and department goals for selling, quoting, and prospecting on a monthly basis.
  • Devotes time each day to the growth and maintenance of strategically assigned accounts.
  • Focuses significant time calling on prospective customers to solicit new business and increase market share.
  • Demonstrates products in Warren CAT inventory using showroom displays, marketing tools, websites, and literature.
  • Prepares and communicates equipment pricing, finance options, and sales agreements in conjunction with the outside sales force.
  • Works with other inside sales representatives to keep account activities and literature current.
  • Works closely with outside salesman to coordinate trainings and customer appreciation events.
  • Meets with customers to communicate the wide range of general line products and financial offerings with 25-30% Travel vs Office schedule 
  • Mentors new salesman focusing on their use of internal programs such as Sales Link, Integrated Rental, I-Quote, and Dealer.CAT.
  • Regularly communicates and demonstrates the sales process such as document processing, rental contract generation, inventory coordinating, and pricing strategies to new and existing employees.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

 

 WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university with 2 years of experience in a sales department or equivalent experience plus education. 
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports, and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. 
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Knowledge of MS Word, CRM Systems, MS Excel, Email, Sales Link, Integrated Rental Systems, I-Quote, and Dealer CAT with the ability to communicate and train others in use of the program
  • Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
