We’re seeking a Branch Manager who knows that a strong, well-coached team is the foundation of any thriving branch. Basics:
- Status: Exempt
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:30 PM, with rotating Saturdays from 8:30 AM–1:30 PM
- Flexibility: Occasional hours outside of the regular schedule may be needed to support branch operations, organizational priorities, or community events.
Job Purpose:
As Branch Manager, you will grow and develop your branch by providing a top-tier experience for both our members and team members. You’ll serve as a catalyst for positive change, driving all facets of branch operations, development, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Member Leadership
- Attract, hire, coach, and engage your team through servant leadership and continuous development.
- Reinforce our mission, vision, and core values while serving as a culture agent.
- Partner with team members on career growth and professional development.
- Oversee scheduling, performance coaching, workflow management, and training.
- Guide new and existing team members through Learning & Development programs.
Branch Growth Leadership
- Drive branch performance through relationship-based sales and top-tier member experience.
- Lead the execution of branch goals while assessing local market conditions.
- Identify opportunities for branch development and growth.
- Lead community outreach and volunteer events that expand our reach and your professional impact.
Branch Operations Leadership
- Oversee branch operations, including cash management, security, compliance, ATM & vault operations, and fraud/loss mitigation.
- Ensure the branch is staffed with qualified, well-trained team members.
- Conduct audits and recommend process improvements to streamline operations and reduce costs.
- Resolve complex member issues and act as a subject matter expert in branch operations.
Other Duties
- Comply with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering, and member due diligence policies.
- Complete compliance and career development training.
- Serve as a Notary Public and provide Medallion Signature Guarantee services as needed.
- Lead special projects and other duties as assigned.
Required:
- Skills: Networking, Coaching & Upskilling, Problem Solving, Verbal & Written Communication, Servant Leadership.
- Experience: 2+ years of branch operations supervisory experience in a credit union or bank.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred:
- Experience: 3+ years of branch operations supervisory experience in a credit union or bank.
