Under the minimal supervision of the Director, The Simulation Coordinator is responsible for handling the day to day business operations for the Simulation Department, including orchestration of all training classes and events at multiple simulation center sites. Additionally, the Simulation Coordinator provides administrative support for departmental functions. Works both collaboratively and independently to meet departmental and organizational needs.

- 1. Prioritize and coordinate accurate deployment of resources, including rooms, materials, facilities, food, and documentation for multiple simultaneous programs.
- 2. Drafts departmental communications regarding programs. Manages the appropriate distribution of communication materials with both internal and external clients.
- 3. Work independently and collaboratively as an integral member of a complex, goal oriented team.
- 4. Serve as primary event planner for all complex, off site, inter professional simulation days.
- 5. Primary user for all ERP, Kronos, Stratajazz, purchase orders, and all other business functions.
- 6. Oversee issues related to maintenance of annual accreditation communications and annual continuing medical education endorsement status.
- 7. Assume primary responsibility for data management, through preparation of department analyses and reports related to key usage and evaluation metrics, using advanced Excel functions.
- 8. Implement collaborative project with other departments as assigned.
- 9. . Plan and lead regular departmental staff meetings.
EDUCATION
Associates degree in healthcare or business related filed required. Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
EXPERIENCE
At least five (5) years of related experience in coordinating program delivery /event coordination and/or comparable.
SPECIAL SKILLS
Ability to organize resources and establish priorities. Must be able to manage multiple projects/tasks concurrently, be detail and client service oriented. Strong working In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office. Excellent communication, interpersonal and networking skills and diplomacy.
