We are seeking an Inside Sales Engineer with a strong electrical/electrotechnical background and proven international commercial skills.
The role involves managing the full sales cycle - from technical product and spare parts selection to commercial and logistics coordination - working closely with both customers and suppliers worldwide.
The ideal candidate has experience with electric motors, AC/DC generators, and heavy industry applications (mining, steel plants, industrial installations), combined with excellent negotiation skills in multicultural environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze customer requirements and select appropriate products and spare parts (product sizing & component selection).
- Prepare technical-commercial offers aligned with customer needs and company strategies.
- Maintain and grow relationships with international assigned customers and suppliers, both remotely (inside sales) and during on-site visits.
- Liaise with suppliers for technical and commercial alignment, ensuring compliance with specifications, lead times, and commercial terms.
- Negotiate international trade terms, including Incoterms and global logistics.
- Apply working knowledge of letters of credit when required and export payment tools.
- Support tenders, complex quotations, and special MRO revamping projects.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and identify new business opportunities.
Requirements:
Technical Background
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electrotechnical Engineering or related field.
- Experience with electric motors, AC/DC generators, power systems, and related spare parts.
- Strong product sizing and technical selection skills.
Professional Experience
- Minimum 5-7 years in technical sales, service, or similar roles within heavy industry (mining, steel, industrial plants).
- Proven track record in international B2B trading and sales.
- Experience in overseas business travel and direct client engagement.
Languages
- Fluent in English (mandatory)
- Fluent in French (mandatory)
- Fluent in Arabic (plus)
Additional Skills
- Knowledge of Incoterms and international logistics procedures.
- Basic understanding of letters of credit and export finance.
- Strong customer focus, intercultural communication skills, and result-oriented mindset
