R+D Verification Technician II bei Midmark Corporation

ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Design and set up electrical/mechanical tests for products, systems, and components according to specifications and standards.
• Develop, execute, troubleshoot, and interpret tests using LabVIEW, PLCs, or other methods.
• Review test protocols and write clear and concise test reports.
• Set up and operate data acquisition systems using various third-party tools and software.
• Analyze and report test data, including product performance, material performance, failure modes, correlation studies, and any other relevant metrics.
• Support product development and improvement by providing feedback and suggestions based on test results.

SECONDARY DUTIES:

• Participate in design reviews and provide input on testability and validation requirements.
• Procure and maintain test equipment and components.
• Comply with FDA and ISO standards and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Associate degree in engineering technology, electronics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 4 years of experience in electro-mechanical testing, verification, preferably in the medical device industry.

COMPETENCY and/or SKILL:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word
• Experience with ERP and PLM systems, such as Oracle and Agile
• Ability to analyze and interpret data using statistical methods and tools
• Strong technical writing and communication skills
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles, circuits, devices, and systems
• Familiarity with LabVIEW, PLCs, and other test automation tools and software
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Attention to detail and quality
