Role Definitions and Focus Areas:

 

Strategic Business Development Executive (SBDE):

 

Focus:

§ Generate new first-time appointments and create new opportunities across assigned account list.

§ Serve as the frontline prospector for division growth, feeding qualified opportunities into the sales pipeline.

 

Target Accounts:

· 70% of the time spent calling to set appointments for current existing customers.

· 30% of the time spent calling on “Like-New” logo

 

Key Activities:

§ Consistent outbound prospecting (calls, emails, LinkedIn).

§ Buyer discovery meetings using OpenWorks’ Sales frameworks.

§ Qualification aligned to OpenWorks Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) rules.

§ Scheduling and handing off qualified opportunities to Major Account Executives (MAEs) or Director Enterprise Solutions.

§ Logging activity, progress, and notes into HubSpot CRM daily.
