Do you want to join a growing team and drive process improvement? Winnebago Motorhome is seeking a Manager of Dealer Support to join our team based in Forest City, IA. The Manager, Dealer Support to play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless and high-performing relationship between Winnebago Motorhome and our dealer network. This leader is responsible for driving technical support, campaign execution, and dealer engagement strategies that elevate customer satisfaction and operational excellence. With a strong technical foundation and a passion for continuous improvement, this role leads a team of 7–10 professionals focused on delivering proactive dealer support, managing escalated cases, and compliance with regulatory reporting requirements (TREAD, etc).

Day to Day of the Role:

Dealer Technical Support

  • Lead the team responsible for providing timely and accurate technical assistance to dealers.
  • Ensure resolution of complex service issues and promote first-time fix rates.
  • Oversee resolution of high-impact customer and dealer cases.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Dealer Training, Communication, & Engagement

  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance dealer technical capabilities.
  • Maintain consistent and clear communication channels with the dealer network.
  • Act as a resource for dealers navigating service processes and systems.
  • Identify and address process gaps impacting dealer efficiency or customer experience.
  • Build strong relationships through in-person visits and dealer meetings.
  • Serve as a trusted advocate for dealer needs and feedback.

Field Action Execution (Service Campaigns, Recalls, etc)

  • Support field action decision making process
  • Lead execution and release of all field campaigns, including communication on status and impact
  • Lead team responsible for writing clear and effective field action instructions
  • Track completion rates and field action effectiveness and lead any follow up actions as needed

Regulatory Reporting

  • Responsible for accurate and timely submission of NHTSA TREAD reports, recall completion reports, and manufacturer communications.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Product Safety and Compliance on regulatory training and compliance


Education & Experience:  

  • Engineering, quality, or other similar technical degrees preferred.  Equivalent experience will be considered. 
  • 5+ years in engineering, technical service, quality or similar technical role, preferably in the automotive, recreational vehicle, or similar manufacturing industry.  
  • Proficient in CRM platforms, advanced Excel, and data analytics tools.
  • Ability to interpret data to drive decisions and improve performance.
  • Proven ability to lead teams with a customer-first mindset.
  • Strong ownership mentality—proactively drives action and accountability.
  • Culture builder who fosters continuous improvement and dealer-centric thinking.
