The PA Program strives to educate physician assistants who can think critically and collaborate with others to address the needs of individual patients and the healthcare community with the highest levels of academic, clinical, ethical, and cultural competency. The ARC-PA has granted Accreditation-Provisional status to the West Chester University Physician Associate Education Program sponsored by West Chester University.
Reporting to the PA Program Director, the PA Program Manager oversees the implementation of projects that support the program’s mission and goals. This position provides support to program faculty and staff and both current and potential students in the areas of admissions, assessment, and compliance. Commitment to student inclusion, achievement, and success and collaboration with campus partners and the WCU community are crucial to this role.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines efficiently; strong organizational, communication and collaboration skills; and flexibility and adaptability.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with the program and the WCU Graduate School to facilitate the admissions process
- Respond to applicant inquiries
- Review applications
- Schedule applicants for interviews and track applicants’ progress
- Support the Admissions Committee selection process for candidates to the PA program
- Develop and deploy assessment surveys and tools
- Collect, compile and review of data with faculty to inform decision-making and accreditation processes
- Work with the Director of Clinical Education and second-year graduate students to track student requirements and clinical site compliance documents
- Support faculty, students, and applicants to the program with routine and special projects that advance the mission and goals of the program
- Other duties as assigned
Position Duties
- Bachelor’s degree
- Demonstrated experience in data tracking and analysis
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and social media tools
Minimum Qualifications
- Two years of related work experience
- Experience working in higher education or healthcare
- Demonstrated knowledge of the physician assistant profession
- Experience working with diverse populations

Salary and benefits are dictated by the State College and University Professional Association (SCUPA) Collective Bargaining Agreement.
