Job Summary:
The Medical Assistant / X-Ray Technician will support clinical operations by performing a combination of administrative, clinical, and radiologic duties. This role requires proficiency in patient care, medical assisting tasks, and operating X-ray equipment in compliance with safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for X-ray procedures, explain the process, and ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Operate X-ray equipment to capture images as prescribed by physicians.
- Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures.
- Record and update patient medical histories and vital signs.
- Perform routine administrative duties such as scheduling, filing, and managing patient records.
- Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of equipment and examination rooms.
- Adhere to all healthcare laws, safety protocols, and confidentiality standards.
- Performs related duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification.
- Certified or licensed X-Ray Technician or relevant radiologic certification preferred.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting, preferably in both medical assisting and radiology.
- Knowledge of radiographic techniques, patient positioning, and radiation safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
