Job Summary:


The Medical Assistant / X-Ray Technician will support clinical operations by performing a combination of administrative, clinical, and radiologic duties. This role requires proficiency in patient care, medical assisting tasks, and operating X-ray equipment in compliance with safety protocols.


Responsibilities:

  •  Prepare patients for X-ray procedures, explain the process, and ensure patient comfort and safety.
  • Operate X-ray equipment to capture images as prescribed by physicians.
  • Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures.
  • Record and update patient medical histories and vital signs.
  • Perform routine administrative duties such as scheduling, filing, and managing patient records.
  • Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of equipment and examination rooms.
  • Adhere to all healthcare laws, safety protocols, and confidentiality standards.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  •  Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification.
  • Certified or licensed X-Ray Technician or relevant radiologic certification preferred.
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting, preferably in both medical assisting and radiology.
  • Knowledge of radiographic techniques, patient positioning, and radiation safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
