An exciting opportunity to be part of the wider Cash Management and Fixed Income Team within Perpetual Corporate Trust. Perpetual Corporate Trust (PCT), a specialist business within the Perpetual Group, is a leading fiduciary, custody and digital business in Australia, with operations in Singapore. The Fixed Income Specialist handles a variety of daily operational trade processing functions and provides support across the trade life cycle. This role will be focused on fixed income product support for large custody clients.
About the Role
Instruct Euroclear settlements based on trading platform queue’s
Monitor trading platform queue’s and Euroclear trade settlement instructions
Complete coupon interest reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Monitor Austraclear settlement queue’s and ensure all trades settled before cut-off
Reconciliation of safe custody reports against bank statement
Fixed Income security set-up and maintenance
Load rates into internal trading platform
Manage fixed income security set-up, maintenance and enquires
Reconcile daily trade instruction files against Euroclear
Identify risks and determine ways to mitigate them.
About you
Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a comparable fixed income middle office role or settlements role
Demonstrated experience in middle office, settlement and reconciliation processes
Knowledge of both of Austraclear and Euroclear
Demonstrated customer service and relationship management skills.
